The department firefighting personnel are divided into three shifts.
A Deputy Chief is in command of each shift

L to R - Deputy Chiefs: Al Sardina, Rusty McCord, Tim Lang

Each shift is staffed by (minimum):
a Deputy Chief, a Lieutenant &
nine Firefighters

This provides 24/7 staffing for four engine companies (two firefighters each)
and the department command vehicle.

All firefighters are certified by the State of Florida,
and are cross trained and certified as EMT's
