 Brush 71 is a military M35 2 1/2 ton truck acquired from the Florida  Department of Forestry and converted to a heavy brush truck by the Englewood Fire Department . It is 6 wheel drive, has a 100 gpm pump and carries 500 gallons of water.  It is located at the Englewood Fire Station #751.  It is capable of transversing most terrain found in our area, and is capable of taking firefighters to off the road fires. It went in service in Spring 2010
