Job Responsibilities The job responsibility the three Battalion Chiefs, is officer in command of his shift. They work a 24 hour shift and respond to all fires, vehicle, Hazardous Materials incidents, and other major emergencies. They are responsible for all scheduling, staffing and personnel on their shift |

Education and Training. Chief Lang has extensive specialized training and certifications including: numerous National Fire Academy courses, State Certification as Fire Officer, Fire Instructor I, Haz Mat Operations level, Confined Spaces and Emergency Medical Technician. He has an Associates in Arts degree. |

Personal Data He lives in Sarasota with his wife Pam and their two children - one boys one girl. His hobbies include fishing, lobstering and weightlifting |
